A most evocative monochrome seascape, Karen Calleja and Joseph Casapinta unite their distinct artistic voices to capture the raw intensity of nature's solitude.  The composition centers on Filfla, a solitary rock which has gone through the wrath of war and stil stands.

Calleja's expressive brushwork imbues the sea and the clouds with a sense of emotional unrest, a living texture that feels both wild and intimate.
